New Commitee

Posted by: Ellie on 05/05/2008 11:28 AM
Dear All,

As no doubt you are aware a new committee has been in place since the beginning of Hilary Term 2009. However they've decided to try and have a new website created and so for now this website won't be updated. I however put the current committee's email addresses up under the committee option so if you have any questions you can get in touch with them.

Please also visit the Chaplaincy's own website (www.catholic-chaplaincy.org.uk) as often you'll find all the details you need there.

God bless,

Ellie

Please note that the termcard section of this website will not be updated and that the photo album link does not work.

The Oxford University Catholic Society
Lent

Welcome to the Oxford University Catholic Society website!

CathSoc is the Oxford University Catholic Society and is run by students for students. We're here to support and encourage Catholics in their Christian vocation by promoting their personal and spiritual development, social interaction and apostolic witness in the University.

We work closely together with the chaplains to put on a wide range of both fun and prayerful events, from Ceilidhs to Plays and events with various other university socities. You're sure to find us at the Chaplaincy, particulary if you pop in for Mass and CathSoc Lunch any weekday at 1.15pm.

To find out more about the events which are coming up please visit the Cahpalincy's website (www.catholic-chaplaincy.org.uk) which will also have details of other society's groups and events.

If you're a baptized Catholic and a member of the University you're already a member of CathSoc! If you want to get in touch don't hesitate to contact any of the committee. (For contact addresses please see the committee page)
Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

Sunday 11am Mass

The week at CathSoc centres on the 11am Mass. You'll find everyone there and afterwards we'll serve up tea and coffee and tell you about what's happening next week. There's a tremendous sense of community, youth and vibrancy all made fuller in the presence of Our Lord. The committee would dearly enjoy seeing you at Mass.

CathSoc Lunch

Every week day of term after the 1.15pm Mass we offer a good lunch for only £1.50. This is a wonderful opportunity to take just an hour out of your day to worship, pray and spend time with friends.
